National on-brand framework

The framework is the most widely-used digital platform by the Scouts. To date, hundreds of websites have been produced across the hierarchy of the organisation.

The platform was built to improve engagement among members, parents, and leaders within Scouting. These audiences can use the localised websites to find out information, join or volunteer, book events, activities and leader training, make payments for merchandise, share news and photos, as well as make a donation. Areas can be created as secure with user-specific log-in functionality which allows sensitive data to hidden from the public. Buildings, campsites, vehicles and equipment can be booked easily, taking payments where required.

Focusing on ease of use, the system is designed with many different user types in mind. Local administrators can instantly add pages, change menus, create data collection forms, and amend content to their localised platform. At a national level, the ability to roll out immediate and frequent updates from one central system across the UK maintains full yet quick and simple brand control.

The platform ensures local coverage is on-brand, GDPR compliant and that cyber security is a number one priority. Third-party integrations include their CRM – removing the need to constantly make updates locally to event and member information – as well as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
